BHS freshman McCain Kellerman finishing his first semester dealing with Leukemia and having to take treatment. Kellerman is hoping to return to school activities soon after fighting the illness. He has plans to play for the BHS golf team this upcoming spring semester.

Q: How is treatment going? 

“Good I am in remission so I only have to go once a month.” 

Q: How did your first semester go?

“Pretty Rough with the harder treatment because it would make me feel not very well but try to go as much as I can.” 

Q: Are you looking forward to Christmas break if so what?

“Yes because like to Christmas and I like to hang out with my family and open presents.”

Q: What sports are you looking forward to in the winter or spring?

“I am looking forward to golf because this will be my first sport to play in a little over a year and I enjoy playing with my friends.”
