Savana Gooch a senior at Baldwin High School who is the yearbook Editor-in-Chef of making the yearbook what it is today.
What are your plans for the yearbook this year?
“I just wanna do something different from the past ones we’ve done. And just trying to get new ideas, trying to make it better then any of the other ones we’ve had before.”
What’s your favorite part about making the yearbooks?
“I love designing the layouts and like getting to decide the thing and making what it is and I love writing the stories and talking to the people that make the yearbook what it is.”
What is it like making the past yearbooks?
“In the past it’s always been really hard to make the yearbooks because there are a lot of people that want to make sure that the group is in there witch is really hard because we have such a limited space but it’s always interesting to watch how the yearbook gets made because at the beginning of the year its comply blank and then it’s already full. Then there are more things that get added to it as the year goes on.”
How long have you been making the year books?
“I’ve been an editor for three years and I’ve been in journalism for 3 years.”
What is the hardest part about making the yearbook?
“The hardest part is probably say when we get the yearbook back we dont really hear about all the things we did well we only hear about the small mistake, the little carers or someone’s name spelled wrong witch we always trying to make sure we no mistakes but when we do and we don’t see it get printed that’s the only thing we hear about and not hear about something we did good.”
