The girls of BHS will have a chance to play flag football. The game happen on Sep 29 which was a Sunday.
“Are team is looking solid this year and im really excited to coach,” Freshman coach Joe Wadel said.
“The seniors are going to be our toughest challenge because they are older and have better experience,” Freshman Logan Kesinger.
The Powder Puff is a big event for the girls of BHS who want to play flag football. The Powder Puff happens every year. Powder Puff has been going on for many years now.
“ The sophomores will be the biggest challenge because a lot of them play flag football,” Coach Jake Van Horn said.
The juniors who are now seniors won the Powder Puff last year and are hoping to have the same outcome for this year. The Powder Puff is not only for the girls to compete in football but is also a fun time for parents and students of BHS.
“The seniors are going to be are toughest challenge because they have more experience and more players,” Head coach for the juniors Tucker Bradley said.
The Powder Puff happens on the Junior high football field. It always fun to come out and watch the girl compete and see how related it is to the friday night lights at Liston
Stadium.
“Our team is looking really good and the best side of the ball is going to be defensive.” Sophomore Tucker Flory said.
“The freshman are going to be our toughest challenge because they play a lot of flag football outside of school,” Flory said.
The Powder Puff is a fun and entertaining sport event to come watch. Every team has been practicing every week or so really hard. The teams are excited to play and are ready to destroy the competition. Powder Puff is usually pretty competitive so entertainment will be at a high. Every team is looking forward to playing on sunday so they can prove that there grade is the best at football.
