Over 10 years, yet another BHS community has formed.
“Film society was started about 10 years ago by a handful of students who wanted to spread movie culture within BHS,” Co-President Jaeden Landreth said.
Film Society is a club at BHS for students wanting to get more involved with something that they are interested in, such as movie culture and the history of how film began.
“Film society benefits our school by providing a judgment-free zone for students to bond over something everyone can enjoy,” Landreth said.
Film society has been created by many students at BHS who wanted to find a community to discuss things such as plays, movies, and TV shows.
When Landreth was asked about the club’s accomplishments, their response was: “It’s a way to allow students to see movies they might not normally see outside of Film Society.”
Film Society can be helpful to students who may not have the resources to watch a desired film at home, as well as exposing students to the culture of film and acting.
