Volleyball is a well-loved and cared-for sport. If someone were to go to a high school volleyball game today, they would see a big student section with kids from the schools playing.
“I like how hype the game is and how much it is growing in college and even high school,” senior Emily Paget said.
Always take your friend’s advice because it could lead to a bright future.
“I started playing volleyball 3 years ago,” freshman Cami Collum said. “I started playing because my friend said I should try it with her and then I liked it, so I just kept playing.”
Always trust and care for your teammates. People do not have to love them but these are the people you will be working with for the majority of the season.
“I especially like the team because I feel this year, compared to my past years’, has been the most fun and has had the healthiest dynamic as a whole,” Paget said.
Being on the lower team, C team, is not necessarily bad.
“I like it because I get a lot of playing time and because my friends are on it,” freshman Launa Haffner said.
It is never too early to start playing a sport, especially volleyball, because you will have more experience in high school.
“I started playing when I was about 4 or 5,” freshman Macie Gilges said, “And my mom played when she was in high school so I started playing too.”
