Senior Maris Flory is looking forward to a great soccer season. Flory plays right back but hopes to change to midfield.
After a wonderful season finishing 4th in state the girls soccer team is hoping to make it farther this year.
The Baldwin High School girls soccer team went 14-5 on the season.
“I hope that we go back to the state championship and hopefully win,” Flory said.
Girls soccer lost a couple huge starters that helped bring them to state last year but they still return many other starters including Maris Flory.
Flory plays a huge role in defense getting honorable mention as a junior. Flory prepares for the season by doing extra conditioning and drills.
“I am looking forward to my last season of soccer before I go to college where I won’t be able to play soccer,” Flory said.
Flory hopes to shine and bring the Baldwin Bulldogs a girls soccer title before she heads off to college.
