Baldwin trails one private school and two former-5A schools in Kansas 4A-All Sport Standings
Spring sports are in full-swing and look forward to post-season to bring home hardware for Baldwin High. But spring sports is only the third act in a very successful year of athletics at BHS.
In the Kansas 4A-All Sport standings, created by the Bulldog Bulletin, Baldwin currently sits in fourth place after the fall and winter sport behind Hayden, McPherson, and Winfield. Hayden, a private catholic school in Topeka, is a perennial 4A powerhouse, while McPherson and Winfield are former-5A schools, sitting as two of the largest schools in the 4A Division I classification. Baldwin is the smallest public school in the top ten.
Boys basketball was the only team to score points for Baldwin during the winter sport season, reaching the sub-state championship. The Bulldogs fell to Hayden in a heartbreaking loss to the Wildcats, who finished as runners-up.
Below is the updated graphic of the Kansas 4A-All Sports Standings. Note that D-II 4A schools are not included in the standings.
