After snow delayed the beginning of spring sports seasons, girls soccer plays their first home game tonight at 4:30 p.m. The game will be against KC Piper. Last season, the two met in the postseason, and BHS narrowly lost 3-2.
Senior Jordan Christian is positive about tonight’s match.
“I think we will do good if we all play together,” Christian said.
The Bulldogs are coming off their first loss of the season last night during the match against De Soto. Currently they are 0-1, but the team did not focus on the negatives.
“Our first game went pretty good,” Christian said. “We played pretty well together.”
Baltzell felt the first half went better than the second half.
“First half we held them to one point,” Baltzell said. “Second half they focused on our weaknesses, and used them against us.”
Baltzell feels today’s game can be different.
“We need to shut down #11,” Baltzell said. “She was the person they kept kicking the ball to. As long as we go in with a good attitude, we have a chance to win.”
