BHS is hosting the Baldwin Invitational Wrestling Tournament (BIT) Saturday Jan. 26, at 9 a.m. There will be 16 teams in the BIT this year.  Last years winner was Prairie View with no individual champions, and they ended up winning by 4.5 points.

The teams that will be going is Prairie View, Holton, Tonganoxie, Oak Park, Baldwin, Lansing, Royal Valley, DeSoto, Santa Fe Trail, Spring Hill, Basehor-Linwood, Louisburg, Paola, Eudora, Wamego, and Abilene.

There will be two state ranked teams in 4a at the BIT Tonganoxie #7 and Holton #10.  There is 21 state ranked wrestlers at the BIT and two wrestlers ranked #1.  These wrestlers are Kyle Wilson, Wamego and Bryce Shoemaker, Baldwin.

The outstanding wrestlers from Baldwin are Tucker Clark #6 (20-6), Bryce Shoemaker #1 (21-2), Jason Von Bargen (15-6), and Mark Harman (15-12).
