After back-to-back titles in 2007 and 2008, the Baldwin boys basketball team looks to finally get the Baldwin Invitational Tournament title after four consecutive runner-up finishes.
The second seed Bulldogs (6-3) look for a first-round victory over the seventh seed Bishop Ward (2-7) after four frustrating second place finishes to Kansas City Christian in 2009 and Bonner Springs in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
The Bulldogs will have the opportunity to avenge those losses in the championship of the BIT. The winner of fourth seed Bonner Springs (3-6) and fifth seed KC Christian (2-7) will play either first seed Wellsville (6-2) or eight seed Perry-Lecompton (2-7) in the semi-final of the BIT.
Senior Caleb Gaylord and junior Cornell Brown both lead the team with 10.3 points per game. The Bulldogs also receive junior Chad Berg back from injury in his second game back.
