Q: What is your major?
“Animal Science on the Production Management track.”
Q: When did you start riding horses?
“I first started riding horses when I was around the age of 9 at Black Bell Farm, and got my own horse at the age of 11.”
Q: What do you most enjoy about being on the team?
“What I most enjoy about the team is that everyone is very supportive and kind to each other. I also enjoy having the opportunity to ride all of the different horses, which has taught me so much because each one is so different.”
Q: Have you found success riding horses throughout your life?
“I believe I have found success riding horses throughout my life because it showed me what I wanted to do with my life and what exactly I wanted to major in. Without being around horses and riding them I would not be at K-State studying Animal Science.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about riding/spending time with horses?
“My favorite thing about riding horses is getting the opportunity to work with such large animals and work as a team when doing so, because trying to work a 1000 lb animal is not the easiest thing all the time. I also love going to shows and being able to show what I’ve been working so hard for.”
