Erin Scraper is a bulldog graduate. She graduated from Baldwin almost 30 years ago. She remembers how dedicated our teachers and administrators were to helping us be successful. I see the same thing now, as both my daughters have gone to school in Baldwin. She has gone to Baldwin since she was 5 years old. She even runs her own business all thanks to her teachers’ help.
Being involved in many different activities including dance and other student organizations.
“I enjoyed being involved in school activities as it made me feel like I was part of a community. Being part of the dance team was fun, our Coach Gayle Dempsey was such a great coach. She supported us and pushed us to be the best as a team. Another benefit of being involved in High School was the opportunity to give back to the Baldwin Community and make a difference. The opportunities I had in high school helped to shape me into the person I am today. As I have continued to give back to my community by volunteering for causes that are near and dear to my heart.”
With her being involved in school she took a few classes that shaped her into what she does today.
“My favorite classes were the business classes I took from Patty Lenning. Not surprisingly I went on to be a business major in college and run my own business. I do want to mention my favorite teacher, Mr. Curran as he helped me get through Geometry. He never complained about all my questions, I remember I would go before school and after sometimes. Baldwin is truly lucky to have him and several other educators who care so much about the students.”
With her being a bulldog she have so much proud on hold baldwin has came along grown
