“It was at first intended for just teachers, we wanted to raise money for teacher meals during conferences. Dinners now are often provided by booster club and parents, so that is nice. We appreciate their generosity. It makes me so happy when the kids come in, I love seeing them and visiting with them. They get so excited when they see I have a new selection of candy. The bookkeeper before me sold candy to the staff and so when I took this position, I continued offering it. The amount of kids that come in per day has been increasing by so much it’s maybe around 20 kids per day. They’re so excited to get a snack! They are always so kind and always say thank you.
