“Covid 19 has taken over everything and we now have to adjust our teaching styles and basically our entire lives for the time being. While I have done things online before, especially with Canvas, I now have to do everything online and hope the students understand or will reach out to me if they don’t. I have also had to learn how to use some new apps and figure out how to conduct an acting class where no one can be physically present. Even though they can be frustrating, my favorite classes I will miss are always the ones where I get to engage with literature and discuss in-depth ideas with students, so American Lit and English Lit. I always try and change how I approach my classes and experiment with new assignments, projects, texts, and class activities, so I look forward to changing things up again next year with something new, hopefully something that will catch people off guard and make them think.”
