“My family has owned Jitters since I was little, but I started working by myself when I was fourteen. Since Jitters is my mom’s business she is normally pretty busy, so we all have to help do stuff around the house. Right now my favorite drink is a Java Chip with ice cream. I have also made up a few new things like the snow cone flavor rockstar. When we all work at Jitters it feels more like a family thing. We all have dinners and hang out and it’s a lot of fun to connect with other people. In the future my mom hopes to give Jitters off to one of the kids, and hopefully it keeps getting passed down. One of my favorite parts is during the summer me and my mom go to a coffee fest in Chicago and you get to walk around and try different kinds of coffee.”
