HUMANS OF BHS: Will Evans, junior
“Every summer we do a mission trip with the Baldwin United Methodist Church. This last one we went to Busby, Montana. Throughout the week we mingle with our crew which is made up of a handful of different people from other churches that came from all over the U.S. You get to meet a lot of people from different places and that’s who you’re with for the week. It’s a lot of painting, but then some people need handicap accessible homes and don’t have that and don’t have a way to get that. Those are the harder ones but they’re more fulfilling and you feel better about yourself. It’s crazy, you get to make permanent bonds with people all over. That’s super special and that’s why I like doing it. You bond with other campers from all over and you can make a best friend who isn’t even from your crew or youth group.”
