A painful goodbye
It’s a bittersweet moment, the end of school, the start of summer, freedom. But the flipside is enough to bring some people to tears, we have to turn the iPads back in. The pain of separation from these wonderful pieces of technology that we have all become attached to is almost too much to think about.
The moment we have all been waiting for, the final bell and all the freedom it brings but that freedom comes with a price, the loss of what has become our best friend for these past few months. The iPad has been our gateway into social media, games, communicating with others, and sometimes even homework.
We have just a few more days to say goodbye before we are plunged back into the dark ages of iPods and smartphones with small screens. How will we survive without Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Tumblr? How will we pass the time without flappy bird, clash of clans or subway surfers? The years is almost over, finals are fast approaching and summer is just waiting for school to let out before it pounces upon us.
The trade off with be hard but we can do it, summer for the loss of the iPads. Turn in days are Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday, iPads and chargers have to be turned in before you leave on Thursday which is a half day.
