Q: What is the Scholars Bowl?
“Scholar’s Bowl is an academic club. We compete in tournaments with other teams from different schools. In a match, two teams are asked questions from a variety of subjects. Players buzz in for a chance to answer. The team that gets the most questions correct wins and advances in the tournament.”
Q: How do you get on the Scholars Bowl Team?
“You tell Mr. Ashcraft that you want to join and then start going to practices.”
Q: What is your favorite part about it?
“My favorite part of Scholar’s Bowl is going to eat with the team after tournaments. While I love competing in matches, this is my favorite part because I get to bond with my teammates and make memories that will last a lifetime.”
Q: What is your least favorite part about it?
“My least favorite part is the math questions.”
Q: Why did you want to be a part of the Scholars Bowl Team?
“I joined Scholar’s Bowl because I wanted to be part of a community that enjoyed being nerds and where I felt like I could be a nerd and not be made fun of.”
Q: How do you prepare for the Scholars Bowl?
“We prepare for Scholar’s Bowl tournaments by practicing after school, answering questions the same way we would in a tournament.”

“ Scholar’s Bowl tournaments are held during the winter sports season.”
Q: What are your Goals for the Scholars Bowl?
“My goals for this season are to hopefully make it to state, but mainly to have fun.”
