As the routine of school has finally settled in, the daily lives of many high schoolers have become hectic. They are involved in many activities like sports, theater, clubs, jobs and many more.
People also have priorities at home, such as taking care of siblings, or having other tasks set to them by family.
High schoolers also have education to worry about. Homework assigned to students by teachers makes life all the more busy.
With all of these stressful tasks, having a social life can be hard to do. With such a busy schedule, hanging out with friends can be hard, relationships can be hard to keep, and having time to yourself can be even more difficult
One thing that is important is that students should not overload themselves with too many activities. Sometimes students involve themselves in too many things at once. They are in sports, doing the fall musical, and taking challenging classes that give a large amount of homework. These students more than likely have other tasks at home set to them by family, such as taking care of siblings, taking care of the house and animals.
If students were to go on with these overpacked and busy schedules, the effect would be dramatic. Grades would drop, kids would be exhausted, the chance of sickness would rise due to the lack of sleep, and tempers would flare.
An easy fix to this problem is to prioritize and organize the schedule. Finishing the most important tasks first such as homework and then moving on to other tasks that are not as important is a good example of this.
If busy students were to prioritize and organize, it will prove to be beneficial in the long run for them.
