Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at BHS is more than just a club, it’s a community where students can come together to grow in their faith, support one another, and build lasting friendships. Whether someone is new to Christianity or has been a believer for years, FCA provides a welcoming and encouraging environment for all.
“FCA brings like-minded students together in a safe place to speak and hear about God,” Donald Blanchat said.
One of the biggest reasons to join FCA is the incredible events and activities that take place throughout the year. From guest speakers to community service projects, FCA offers a variety of ways for students to get involved and deepen their faith. These events create opportunities for fellowship and personal growth while making lasting memories with friends.
“It is a fun group that plans and hosts great events,” Blanchat said.
FCA meetings take place every Wednesday morning at 7:15 a.m. in the Baldwin High School library. This weekly gathering is a great way to start the day with encouragement, prayer, and meaningful discussions about faith. Anyone is welcome to attend, whether they come every week or just stop by to check it out.
“Anyone can join. If you are curious about what a Christian is, if you are a Christian and want to progress your faith, or if you aren’t sure and want to be around great people, this is the space for you,” Blanchat said.
No matter where someone is in their faith journey, FCA provides a supportive and inspiring community where they can learn, grow, and connect with others who share similar values.
