How often do you study? Studying is an essential part of being in the school system, especially when we’re nearing finals. However, some students choose to study hard one or two nights a week, while others prefer to study a little every day. Which one do you do?
In a recent survey done on students at Baldwin High School, it is found that 60% of students study 2 nights a week. 50% of seniors say that they only study 1 night a week. Clearly, most people would rather cram in all the studying instead of doing it gradually throughout the week.
When asked what class makes students study the most, 62% of freshmen said math, 58% of sophomores said science, 53% of juniors said English, and 40% of seniors said math. As you can tell, a lot of students said that math was the hardest subject in school.
85% of students overall said that they procrastinate doing their homework. 80% percent of girls agree that they procrastinate often, while 65% of boys say that they don’t procrastinate doing their homework.
For the final question of the survey, students were asked if they thought that studying actually helps improve their grades in school. 75% of all students said that they do think that studying helps their grades.
