Springing forward an hour takes away an hour of sleep from students. Students like Ryder Bond, Hailia Callahan, Cami Collum, Launa Haffner, and Alyssa Flick have strong opinions about it and what the effects of Spring forward will do.
“I will end up getting up later and I will be more tired,” Bond said.
Most students do not enjoy having this event.
“I feel bad about it because I will have to get up earlier,” Callahan said.
Going to school after getting an hour less of sleep makes some challenges.
“I don’t like it since I will get less sleep and I already have homework and sports,” Haffner said.
This hour less of sleep can also affect how you do in class.
“I think it is hard to focus at school because I am more tired and thinking about wanting to go home,” Flick said.
Getting an hour less of sleep affects everybody.
“It is terrible because I get less sleep and it makes me tired at school,” Collum said.
