“I got my first rabbit when I was 7 years old. I named it Alex after the Royals player. I started naming all my rabbits after Royals players until I had too many to count. My parents when they were younger showed rabbits so I thought it would be a fun thing to try since they already know how to help me work with them. I currently have 25 rabbits. There are two breeds that I take care of. They are Mini lop and Californian. I have to get them out once a week so I can work with them. I give them water twice a day, and food once a day. I also got to clean their barn once a week. I am in the Vinland Valley 4-H club. I have been a part of that club for about 8 to 9 years. I have to brush them to get ready for shows, and use conditioner to repair their coats. I have won best in show for Douglas county fair in 2020, and won best in show at the State Fair in 2020.”
