Editors hard at work with Pioneer plans

The wonderful yearbook is put together by a group of high school students that are very dedicated to the matter. They put a lot of time, creativity and work to make the yearbook look as best as it can.

“We spend the whole year putting the yearbook together,” photographer and Editor-in-Chief Marissa Rickey said. “Right now we are working on what the theme is going to be and the layouts of the book.”

The yearbook this year is planning to be about togetherness. The set theme has not been decided but it is going to be around that idea. Even with the difficulties making the yearbook is fun. Each person has their own job that they enjoy.

“I really enjoy creating pages and being able to know everything that goes on around the school,” Editor-in-Chief Liz Schrock said. “The hard part is finding a theme to carry throughout the book.”

To make a good yearbook there has to be early planning and goal making.

“A couple goals for a yearbook this year is to create a fun and exciting book,” Schrock said. “Also, we would like to sell more books than last year.”
