Bulldog teams ready for busy summer
With summer approaching, sports teams for BHS are already looking forward for next season. Over the summer most BHS sport teams will offer a camp.
Boys basketball camp will be June 15-18 in the BJHS gym. The cost will be $25.00 for any student going to be a 9-12 grader. The camp will be 9 a.m. to noon each day. For more information contact head coach Paul Musselman, [email protected].
Cross Country does morning runs together throughout the week. For more information contact head coach Mike Spielman, [email protected].
Volleyball camp will be June 1-5 in the BHS gym. It will cost $35 and be 9:30-11:30 a.m. For more information contact head coach Jill Brown, [email protected].
BHS softball and baseball will have many students play during the summer on teams so they get plenty of practice through that. For more information contact head coach Chad Scoby (softball), [email protected] or head coach Brian Turk (baseball), [email protected].
The football team will have two camps this summer. June 7-8 will be an overnight stay at Emporia, for any 10-12 grader. It is a padded camp that cost $80. There will also be a team camp July 13-17 on the BHS fields. It will cost $40 which will include insurance during the camp and a T-shirt. Girls soccer will have a camp during the summer, time date and place are to be decided. For more information contact head coach Erryn Kindell, [email protected].
The wrestling team will take part in the Baker University camp from June 16-19 in the Mabee gym. There will also be a team camp, dates will be announced on the team’s Facebook page & Twitter feed (@BdogWrestling).
