57th annual Maple Leaf Festival returns to Baldwin City

Baldwin City residents are getting ready for the annual Maple Leaf Festival Oct 17-18. Since 1958, Baldwin City’s annual Maple Leaf Festival has been Baldwin’s biggest fall family event. Not only do local Baldwin citizens come and enjoy the fun of the festival, but many people travel from all over to come to our Maple Leaf Festival. The festival starts off with a lively parade consisting of varieties of floats, children competitions, marching bands, local businesses, and dashing horses. The festival is always providing some type of adventure and fun. There are rides and carnival prize filled games. Along the line of food, there are varieties of booths. The Maple Leaf Festival is a big deal for Baldwin, bringing in many people to our little town.
