The BHS basketball game on Fri. Feb. 20 was a busy night for the bulldogs.
It was Senior Night at BHS so seniors on the pom squad, cheer team, and both basketball teams were recognized after the varsity girls game. For the seniors involved in these sports it was their last time participating in a home game.
“Senior night was special because we got to play Ottawa and Luke (Fursman) held Semi to one field goal and the crowd was great,” senior Caleb Gaylord said.
The superfan theme for the night was Molly Ogden, t-shirts were sold to raise money for the Ogden family and students were encouraged to wear their shirts to the game.
“I think it’s really cool that everyone came together to show their support for Molly,” sophomore Kelsie Champagne said.
BHS stuco sold raffle tickets as a fundraiser for Ogden’s medical expenses. The winner won half of the money the raffle made. Stuco was pleased with the results of the fundraiser.
“We made $470,” Stuco sponsor Danielle Balsman said. “The winner donated her half of the money back to Ogdens.”
