The Baldwin High School Real World Design Team won the National Title last spring for the second time in school history. The team presented the trophy to Gov. Sam Brownback Friday, Aug. 24.
The team was honored to have to opportunity to meet and spend some time with the governor.
“Meeting with Governor Brownback was gratifying,” senior Carrie Deitz said. “It’salways nice to be recognized for an achievement, especially by someone as busy and important as him.”
The team will start their quest to defend their national title in the winter.
