There are alot of holiday traditions throughout the world and some people “don’t do anything for the holidays and that is fine but there are also people that do. 

Mr.Thomas Broxtermann the algebra1 and algebra 1 honors classes at BHS and this one of his traditions is to “Go to church with family and have a big family meal”. Said Broxtermann. Another one is that he said “We will eat and play cards together”. Said Broxtermann. 

Another triditions is that they  “We will eat and play cards together”. Said Broxtermann

There are also traditions that are very basic but that doesn’t mean anything. Like Mrs. Calyee Tannahill She is the BHS culinary teacher Tannahill said that her traditions are  “decorating Christmas cookies and decorating the Christmas tree”. 

Another person is Kit Harris, the journalism and yearbook teacher at BHS. And one of his traditions is to” My family tries to do a shopping day together and try to go out to eat after”. Said Harris.

 Another one of his traditions is to “We also always go over to my parents’ house for a family gathering every year”. Said Harris Another one is “Then we host a Christmas day breakfast at our house.” said Harris.

 Another tridition is “We try to spend time together as a family as much as we can, because we are all so busy during the year”. Said Harris 

Another person is Mr.Kenneth Herrenbruck. He is a Chemistry teacher at BHS. One of his traditions is to “We always go to my grandmother’s house on christmas day.” Said Herrenbruck.

Another tridition is “ We have dinner and play cards and board games then in the afternoon we open gifts one at a time in order from youngest to oldest”. Said Herrenbruck.

 Another tradition is that he “The weekend before Christmas my wife and I drive throughout Kansas City looking at all of the Christmas lights other people put up”.Said Herrenbruck
