FCA is a club at BHS that stands for Fellowship of Christian Athletes, it is not just for athletes though, it is a club where people gather and talk about God.
“FCA is a Fellowship of Christian Athletes where we talk about God and it is kind of like a church,” freshman Braxsten Heck said. “We will also pray together outside of the school near the flagpole.”
FCA takes place early in the morning in the BHS library on Wednesdays.
“It is in the library at the high school,” sophomore Tucker Flory said. “It takes place on Wednesdays at 7:30 in the morning.”
FCA is a place people can go to make friends and have a good time together, many people enjoy the things that are done at FCA.
“My favorite part of FCA is getting together and hanging out with all the people who share the same beliefs with me,” Flory said. “We also get up early in the morning and have breakfast, it’s just a really fun time.”
FCA is a great club to join to follow the holy spirit and make some new friends. Others in the club encourage BHS students to join because it is a welcoming and fun environment.
“I would recommend others to join FCA because it’s a great way to connect with your peers and God,” Heck said. “It also gets you up early in the morning so that you aren’t late for school.”
According to members, Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a welcoming environment and helps people learn about God and the holy spirit. They have breakfast for all the club members too.
