“I am a multi-sport athlete and play volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track. Staying focused in class and doing my homework after practice helps balance school and sports. You just really need to pay attention and try to get your work done during class. To balance my time between track and softball, I usually do my track workout, then I go to softball practice, but if I have a big game or meet coming up I will go to the whole track or softball practice. My favorite sport is basketball because it’s fun and it pushes you. My favorite part about being a multi-sport athlete is I always have something to do, I get benefits from each sport and I can use it in my other sports, and you can make many new friends in each sport.”
