Foreign exchange student Giorgia D’angelo thankful for her experiences in the US. 

“Between seeing all the American Movies and always wanting to come to America from a young age is the reason I decided to come to America.” D’angelo said.

D’angelo has been looking forward to being a foreign exchange student since she was little.

“I was very excited when I found out about my placement because I had only ever heard that Kansas was a state but I didn’t know anything else about it.” D’angelo said.

D’angelo loves being here at Baldwin.

“My favorite thing about being in Baldwin City is seeing and experiencing good relationships with teachers who are funny, nice, and always find ways to help you.” D’angelo said. 

D’angelo is excited to experience more things at Baldwin this year.

“My experience at Baldwin High School has been really good. It’s so much different from my Italian school. It’s less stressful and more fun.” D’angelo said.

D’angelo feels very happy to be a part of BHS.

“I’m very sad to think about going back to Italy and knowing that I’ll probably never see any of the friends i’ve made here.” D’angelo said. 

D’angelo can’t wait to see more things around the USA before heading home to Italy this summer.
