Humans of BHS: Jack Harvey
“Recovering from surgeries on both my ankles inside a year was really tough. My first ankle I broke freshmen year playing football and was able to wrestle that winter. The next was over sophomore year summer wrestling and I was back to playing football 3 months later. Trying to stay active and keep up my drive to workout was a struggle. It really taught me not to take the things I loved doing for granted. Knowing that anytime you’re competing is a risk can’t effect the way you play. Staying in the gym and doing everything you can while you go through adversity is tough but does a lot more than you think.”
