Q/A about the musical with Elee Pittman

Q: What is your role with the show?

A: “I’m one of the actors and my role is Sharpay Evans. I love this role because I think I play sassy characters very well.”

Q: What is the hardest part about your job?

A: “Long rehearsals are very physically and emotionally draining. Having a good cast who cares about each other makes it worth it.”

Q: What do you enjoy about being a part of the show?

A: “Ms. Jacobson is always supportive of us and encourages us to be one big family.”

Q: How many years have you done this job?

A: “This is my third year in the musical as an actor.”

Q: How did you get into this role?

A: “I’ve been a fan of High School Musical since I was a little girl. When I found out we were doing this show I knew I wanted to be Sharpay. I thought I could add all my sass to her role and play it very well. I have brought her to life on stage by being very extra with everything including my costuming, props, and delivery of my lines.”

Q: What can the audience expect from this year’s show?

A: “A fun upbeat show that teaches a great lesson of how people of all types should come together.”
