Kathleen Sigvaldson teaches Government and History to all grades at Baldwin High School. This is her 34th year of teaching. Students nominated Sigvaldson for Teacher of the Month because of her passion for teaching.
“She is very passionate about what she teaches and she wants her students to be involved. She let us out of class to vote for the election in November,” senior Abbi Carlson said.
Teachers also recognize Sigvaldson for everything she does.
“Mrs. Sigvaldson is highly deserving of this reward. Not only does she work tirelessly to be an outstanding teacher she also sponsors numerous clubs that add to the school in positive ways. My only surprise is that it took so long for her to win this award,” Jason Crowder said.
