There are so many differences between Kenya and the U.S and one of them is the weather.
There are four seasons in Kenya as it is in the United States. These are summer, autumn, winter and spring. The only difference is how they occur. Summer is the same all through the two countries.
Winter is completely different in Kenya in that we do not experience snow. The four season also takes place opposite times of the year. For example, when it is winter in U.S, then it is summer in Kenya.
I personally have never been through snow before I came to U.S. I find snow as a very cool and beautiful time of the season. Winter in Kenya takes place as rain. We also do not have as cold winters as it is in the U.S. The lowest our temperature gets is in the 50s which in our case is freezing.
Due to the average warm temperature in Kenya, we usually have shorts and t-shirts about every day of the year. Before I came to the u.s, I have never experienced as much cold before. I came with some winter clothes from my country, but they actually ended up to be my summer clothes. I had to buy new winter clothes because it was more than I expected.
