President Obama gave his State of Union address to Congress on Tuesday, laying out his legislative agenda for the coming year and achievements of his time in office. Here are some opinions from the teachers and students from Baldwin High School about the president’s State of Union.

- “It was a good speech. At times he sounded like a Republican. I do not know how we will pay for the program he wants. I thought the ending of the speech was very moving.”

- “We watched it in Government class and it was interesting to hear President Obama’s opinion of how our country is doing and I hope he can get everything done that he said he wants to. “

- “I thought everything Obama said was really great and I am exited to see how his plans will carry on.”

- “I thought he had a lot of nice things about where America should go and I agreed with a lot of the stuff that he said”

- “He said some good and bad things. I really do not care what he says, I just want him to do something.”
