Christmas  is an important holiday in my country as well as in the U.S. This is one of the biggest holidays in our country.

Christmas in Kenya is different from Christmas in the U.S in many ways. One way is that it is always summer in my country during Christmas, but it is winter in the U.S. We therefore do not have sports such as ice skating, sledding etc. But we have swimming, fishing and many other summer activities.

In the u.s, people celebrate Christmas as the whole month of December even before the December 25th They also watch many Christmas movies and listen to a lot of Christmas carols in preparation for the holiday. Many people have lights decorated both in and out of their houses.

In my country, we do not prepare for Christmas the entire month. We usually have lights in the city and just a few homes. Some watch the Christmas movies and listen to some Christmas carols but it is not as common as it is in the U.S.

I love how people celebrate Christmas in the u.s since it brings lots of Christmas spirit and it is also fun.
