This is BHS’s first year having an official FFA chapter
“I think it’s a very good group of people and that it’s fun,” Sophomore Sam Taylor said.
FFA provides 24 different events you can do in a contest against other schools in your district
“I like Livestock judging because I grew up around cattle and working with them,” Freshman Walker Lopez said.
There are 8 different Officers in our building.
“I enjoy getting to teach students about various aspects of agriculture. I also like to help students excel in contests and competitions,” Macy Herrenbruck said, who is the Advisor.
“I call the role of the members at the meetings and I take minutes over monthly meetings, and learn about Ag and go to all of the competitions,” Junior Secretary Brooklyn Enright said.
“I get to be in charge of income and expenses for the chapter and I like getting to help decide what happens in the chapter and what direction the future of the chapter will go,” Senior Treasurer Blake Hanna said.
“I get to be in charge of the chapter scrapbook,” Freshman Historian Molly Hill said.
“I get to be the chair at the par-law competition and I like getting to help decide what happens in the chapter and what direction the future of the chapter will go,” Junior Parliamentarian, Aiden Soper.
“I enjoy helping plan events and being a committee chair. I get to oversee all the committees,” Junior Vice President Addison Allen Said.
“As Student Advisor I am the co-advisor of the Junior High chapter and assist with the High School chapter,” “I enjoy being able to learn more about agriculture while also teaching others” Senior Student Advisor Emily Goans said.
“I hold the door and greet people for meetings,” Junior Sentinel Lydia Herron said.
“I create the monthly Newsletter and assist the Historian with the chapter scrapbook. I also plan public information programs along with spreading the word with FFA. I enjoy using my creativity to make the monthly Newsletter,” Junior Reporter Haylee Diers said.
